 Takemoto, Yuuta an art major college freshman living with his upper-class Morita, Shinobu and Mayama, Takumi. Takemoto and Morita's world brighten when they say Hanamoto, Hagumi - the niece of school physician.  The story follows these character life stories as poor college students as well as their love lives.


 At first the anime looks boring with dull atmosphere and old school style of drawing. after a few minutes of the first episode you'll realize the calmness of the art and the realism of the story.


 Honey and Clover is a realistic story, it's the harsh truth. We don't know when we will fall in love, we're afraid if we should go for it or not because we're not sure if it's a success or failure.


 But still if you love that person no matter what, even if it hurts you, you're willing to wait as long as you love that person. Well, that is unrequited love.

 Love at first sight, unrequited love, slice of life, a bit of comedy, family and friendship this is what Honey and Clover is made of.
