A Game of Thrones

A Game of Thrones is the first book in the A Song of Ice and Fire series written by George R. R. Martin, this book is about power struggles in Westeros. Great Houses fighting for the Iron Throne or the seat of power. The said series already had it's first season last year and the upcoming season will be aired on April 1st.

 The story has three main plots first is the power struggle in Seven Kingdoms or Westeros, second is the creatures beyond the wall or the norther part of the Seven Kingdoms and third, across the narrow sea in the free cities of Essos are the exiled Targaryens trying to make their own army to regain the Iron Throne.

 The Game of Thrones is a medieval drama and fantasy, this is not a protagonist vs antagonist type of story, it's all about ruling. There are a lot of storyline in the book since the narration is in third person point of view.

 HBO's adaptation of the series has been a huge success that's why it decided to have a second season, with its big cast and awesome actors (most are from theater since they are nudity in some scenes) the likes of Lena Headey as Queen Corgo of 300,  Sean Bean as Boromir of Lord Of The Rings, Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage and Alfie Allen.
